The show of blooms in springtime: a photographic workshop with Luciano Gaudenzio, professional photographer specialized in naturalistic reportages, in the Monte Baldo Park

Luciano Gaudenzio has been working for several years as a professional photographer specialized in naturalistic reportage and promotion of the territory. His images have appeared on the covers and articles of the most famous national and foreign magazines, including Condé Nast Traveller, GEO, National Geographic Traveller, Bell’Europa, Bell’Italia, In Viaggio, Specchio, Dove, Meridiani Montagne. He is author of several photographic books, the last of which is entirely dedicated to the Friulian Dolomites, the wildest area of the Dolomites. He regularly collaborates with the publication of calendars and collective photographic volumes, and his images have been awarded and reported in some of the most important industry photo competitions, including, in numerous editions, the GDT European Wildlife Photographer of the Year. There are dozens of personal exhibitions in Italy and abroad and participation in collective exhibitions, such as the prestigious “Wonders of nature. The intelligence of creation”, on animal and plant life in the world, organized by the Gasometer Museum of Oberhausen in collaboration with the magazine GEO. For about 4 years he has been involved, together with two colleagues, in an international project to enhance the value of Italian mountains in the world, L’Altro Versante, in the dual role of photographer and director of photography. Since 2014 he has been director of photography for the production of documentaries and short films linked to the promotion of the territory and social communication on behalf of important private sector companies and regional tourism authorities. Founder and photographer of the photographic agency PHOTOFVG, specialized in photography and reportages related to landscape and tourism.

We will meet at the Cultural Center of Brentonico at 6 pm for a presentation of the workshop.
Saturday 26th May
We will spent the day in a photographic trekking in the nature to capture the beauty of the blooms, with Luciano Gaudenzio. There will be the possibility to test the Fuji equipment.
The San Valentino/Corna Piana route will allow you to get to know one of the most beautiful and interesting landscapes of Monte Baldo, which is also known as the “garden of Italy”. The route crosses a protected area of great environmental importance, characterized by an extraordinary floristic biodiversity.
Length of the route: about 5.5 km.

In the morning we will stay in the classroom to discover post-production tools and techniques.
